The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 116

When he remembered that today he brought his hoverbike with him the smile he had put away suddenly threatened to spring up again. He shouldn’t look too happy otherwise Zi Han will be suspicious of him.

He tapped something on his light brain and the sound of something rotating in the wall permeated the air before the doors slid apart and a black hoverbike with streaks of white appeared.

Zi Han’s eyes brightened like stars on a moonless night and he strode over intending to take the driver’s seat. “Wow!..... I am driving,” he declared before lifting his leg with his skirt lifting a few inches up. Yi Chen had to admit, that Zi Han looked incredibly sexy especially when he was pushing his hair back while his other hand was on the throttle.

He so wanted to take a picture but what excuse could he use? Lucky for him Zi Han had the same idea. He spun his head around and said, “Quick, quick class president Chen. Take a picture.”

Yi Chen put on a serious face while replying, “Call me Cheng-ge and I will do it.”

“Aiyo, so particular,” replied Zi Han with his elbow lazily resting on the windscreen.

“I am a very expensive photographer now quickly call out or I won’t do it,” said Yi Chen in a playful tone unfortunately for him he had no idea that he was directly setting himself up.

Zi Han smiled mischievously and said, “I have a better one for you..... Oppa... please take a picture for me.”

.....

Yi Chen, ‘!!!!!’

His back stiffened for a moment before his ears felt hot. He knew this term existed because of Yi Feng’s friend circle. He had heard Leila call Yi Feng that and the way she was tugging at his arm was absolutely blush-inducing for Yi Feng. He still knew Leila was a top but Yi Feng had blushed so hard that he resembled a ripe tomato. Now Zi Han just... Oh god, how on earth was he supposed to survive that direct strike to the heart.

“Where..... where did you,” he asked but he couldn’t even finish his sentence because his voice was getting tremulous.

Zi Han answered bluntly his expression back to normal, “Some girls in the slums used to call me that. Now take the picture otherwise we will be late.”

Yi Chen’s expression darkened as he guzzled down another bucket load of vinegar. He wanted to know what sort of conversation Zi Han was having with those girls that led to him being addressed as such.

What he didn’t know was that Zi Han didn’t even need to speak to them for them to call him that. They would be smiling shyly while standing at the window of their class calling out and waving at him each time he passed. It was like the girl version of cat calling.

His spirit had dampened but he still took pictures of Zi Han. While he was taking pictures, he suddenly had an ominous feeling that something dark and malicious was watching him.

His brow furrowed slightly as he looked around but he couldn’t see anything suspicious. Apart from a few people strolling about and occasional glances their way there was nothing.

What he didn’t know was that there were three pairs of eyes on them. One pair was watching with a hint of pity in their eyes. The other pair was watching with relish while snacking on some melon seeds. The last pair of eyes were blazing with rage. If looks could kill Yi Chen would be a pile of ashes by now.

Yi Chen felt ill at ease so after taking a few pictures which he didn’t even get to admire he let Zi Han drive after putting on a helmet for him. Yi Chen put his on and sat behind Zi Han obediently placing his hand on his thigh like a true gentleman.

He soon regretted the decision of letting Zi Han drive. He experienced the same thing Zi Feiji felt when he was training Zi Han. The boy loved speed so much making one think he was born on a race track.

Yi Chen was so shocked that he subconsciously grasped Zi Han’s waist with his chest pressed against Zi Han’s back. Zi Han who was having the time of his life smiled happily while shouting, “Hold on tight!! Woohoo!”

Yi Chen, ‘Fuck!’

By the time they reached their destination Yi Chen who thought he lived on the edge wasn’t certain anymore. This person in his arms was an adrenaline junkie of the highest order. Looking at Zi Han’s innocent face one wouldn’t believe he was that type of person.

Yi Chen wasn’t afraid of anything but today Zi Han managed to terrify the heck out of him. “Is this the place?” asked Zi Han taking off his helmet.

Yi Chen who was still hugging him from behind didn’t move. He remained plastered on his back for a moment longer. Either of two things was happening. He was either catching his breath or eating tofu.

Let’s let the audience decide what exactly he was doing.

Zi Han shrugged his shoulder with a sweet smile trying to get Yi Chen’s attention. “Chen-ge.... stop playing possum. I know you aren’t dead,” he said with a light chuckle.

Yi Chen who was perfectly fine couldn’t help but be a little shameless right now. His hand rubbed Zi Han’s waist as he tightened the hug. His breathing quickened his face heating up with embarrassment. All his life he never thought he would be this shameless.

Zi Han felt a little bad so he patted Yi Chen’s hand and said, “Take your time. I think I went a little too overboard.”

Before Zi Han could take back his hand Yi Chen grabbed it tightly and interlocked their fingers with a slight tremor in his hand. Zi Han really thought he was shaken so he didn’t say anything.
