The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 335

“Maybe they have reconciled or something?” said Zi Han only for Zi Xingxi to laugh out loud.

“I doubt that... anyway I have to go. Remember to call me if anything changes,” she said while sending an air kiss to him.

Zi Han captured the air kiss and placed it on his heart while chuckling. But as soon as the call ended the smile on his face sank.

The base was empty and felt a little lonely because Yi Chen was simply refusing to wake up. This left him in his head longer than he should have. His thoughts slowly became erratic and chaotic. He was like a water hose with one end filling up with water and the other end secured with duct tape. Eventually, he was going to erupt not unless he found a way to release some of that pressure.

Lucky for him before that could happen Yi Chen woke up by the afternoon. Zi Han had been taking a shower after training and when he stepped out of the shower with his bath towel wrapped around his waist he found that person he had been waiting for to wake up sitting at the edge of the bed with a blank expression.

Zi Han smiled happily as he leaned against the door. “You didn’t intend to come back to me, didn’t you?”

Yi Chen who had been rubbing his temple in a state of confusion raised his head when he saw Zi Han standing there with his top half naked.

Yi Chen asked, “Are you trying to seduce me?”

.....

Zi Han laughed out loud as he averted his gaze. He didn’t even realize his eyes were wet and tears were flowing down subconsciously.

It was only after Yi Chen stood in front of him and began to wipe the tears on his face did Zi Han realize he was crying.

“Baby what’s wrong,” asked Yi Chen seeming very concerned.

Zi Han who had been holding back lost it. He buried himself in Yi Chen’s chest and silently let it all out which startled Yi Chen so much that he didn’t know what to do.

He began to search his memory for anything that could have upset Zi Han. The last memory he had was of him looking for the explosive device. Everything after that was a blur. He didn’t even know how he ended up back on the base.

“Shh, it’s okay. I am here... shh, baby don’t cry. Please don’t cry,” he said stroking Zi Han’s back and hair soothingly but his t-shirt got even wetter. It seemed Zi Han had been bottling it all up for days and he finally couldn’t contain himself anymore.

“You have been sleeping there for three days. Why? Why would you do that to me?” said Zi Han his voice low and barely audible but Yi Chen heard his complaints.

It seemed he had been knocked out cold for so long and Zi Han was very worried. “I am so sorry. I am really sorry,” he said but Zi Han ignored him.

In fact, he gently pushed him away feeling a little embarrassed. He suddenly felt like a drama king for throwing such a fuss. Wasn’t Yi Chen fine? So why was he crying like someone had died?

Even when he criticized himself Zi Han couldn’t help but feel aggrieved. He took out a t-shirt from the hanger and was about to put it on when he was hugged from behind.

Yi Chen nuzzled the crevice of Zi Han’s neck while speaking to him softly. “Baby... I am sorry. I am so sorry,” he whispered.

Zi Han sniffled his face growing hot from shame. He was about to shrug him off when he felt some wetness on his neck. When he realized Yi Chen was also crying Zi Han felt so bad.

He raised his hand and gently rubbed the back of Yi Chen’s head. “It’s fine. I was just emotional that’s all...,” said Zi Han but Yi Chen didn’t stop embracing him.

He kissed Zi Han’s neck before saying, “When you hurt, I hurt... so don’t cry anymore, okay?” Zi Han showed a pained smile as he kissed Yi Chen’s forehead. He now understood how his mother felt all these years. At least he managed to get to Yi Chen in time. He couldn’t even bring himself to think what would happen if he hadn’t put that ring on Yi Chen’s finger. Would he have still found him?

Zi Han gently stroked Yi Chen’s hair as the two embraced in silence. This tranquil silence lingered for a very long time that is until Yi Chen’s tummy roared in dissatisfaction.

Zi Han couldn’t help but laugh out loud. “You must be starving. Let me get dressed so we can go to the kitchen. I made you some porridge,” he said but Yi Chen wouldn’t let him go.

When Zi Han pat Yi Chen’s hand to let him go Yi Chen tightened his hold while saying, “I am hungry for other things.”

Zi Han, “...”

He pushed Yi Chen while calling out, “You pervert. You haven’t even recovered yet but all you keep thinking about is sex.”

Yi Chen held his stomach and stumbled backward playing the victim. He grimaced as he sat back on the bed like he had been injured.

Zi Han put on his t-shirt while saying, “You should improve your acting skills. You hurt your head not your belly.”

Yi Chen then placed his hand on his head and Zi Han laughed while striding over. “Let me take a look. Doctor Han will heal you fast,” said Zi Han only for Yi Chen to change where his hand was to his crotch.

“Then Doctor Han, it hurts here. Can you check it for me?” said Yi Chen before biting his bottom lip seductively.

Zi Han took a step back and said, “That’s not my specialty ah fuck. You... let go.”

What was he asking Yi Chen to let go? The man was holding on to his towel and the way he was tugging it meant he would be left exposed with a little force.

“Doctor Han, it’s swollen over here. Can you please take a look? I promise it will be worth your time,” said Yi Chen seeming so energetic that one wouldn’t think he was the same person who was lying on the bed lifeless for three days.

“Shit... Yi Chen, let go... ahahaha you pervert... where are you touching?”

AN: Where is he touching indeed?
