The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 462

He was about to ask Yi Chen what each color robe means when that said person kissed his cheek and not just a light tender peck but the kind with a little tongue.

“Shit, Yi Chen... what do you think you are doing?” he said while jerking his head away. At this rate, he might not be able to control himself and get eaten on this roof.

Who could blame Yi Chen when he was a walking talking snack? He was too irresistible especially after starving for so long. He was like the first bite after starving yourself for an entire day. Tasty and satisfying.

“You didn’t say it back,” said Yi Chen his lower body consciously or subconsciously rubbing against Zi Han’s ass.

“You do realise we are on a rooftop and if you get hard it won’t be my responsibility. You will be on your own,” said Zi Han trying to push Yi Chen away. Too bad he couldn’t get rid of him, not now not ever. The man was going to stick to him like white on rice.

Yi Chen who wouldn’t give up easily suddenly turned rogue. He glanced around and said, “But there is no one here. No one will see,” before leaning down and pushing Zi Han’s hair on his neck and kissing him again.

Zi Han wanted to reprimand him but the sensation on his neck muddled his mind. This man despite having lost his memory still knew how to torture him.

Lucky enough he still had the voice of reason. He stepped aside running away from him. Yi Chen did stop messing around but his arms were still tightly wound around Zi Han’s waist.

.....

He pressed his chest against Zi Han’s back and continued to say, “You didn’t say it. Say it back and I will let you go.”

“Say what?” he asked acting like he didn’t know what he was talking about.

“Baby, don’t play dumb with me,” replied Yi Chen while turning him around and cupping either side of his face before continuing, “I know you know what I am talking about. Why do I feel like we have had this conversation before.”

Zi Han, “...”

“Ah uh let’s not talk about that. I will say it. I love you t-... mm mm,” said Zi Han before his lips were sealed. Yi Chen was kissing him with his tongue prying his lover’s lips with little to no distance between them.

The gentle soft touch on Zi Han’s lips slowly intensified arousing a strong sense of urgency within him. Zi Han was on the verge of losing his mind. He just couldn’t resist Yi Chen’s charm. If it weren’t for Yi Chen parting their lips and hugging him Zi Han might have gone down on him on this roof.

“I really can’t help it. I just want you,” whispered Yi Chen and Zi Han rubbed his back while responding,

“We have all the time in the world. I promise you we will never be apart so there is no need to be in a hurry.”

Yi Chen knew that but his heart felt somewhat ill at ease. He just had this inexplicable feeling that this person would run away from him if he so much as blinked. But when he thought that Zi Han had come all this way to get him however far it was he would feel like he was overthinking it.

He sighed deeply before letting him go but Zi Han felt a sense of loss. He knew they had something to do but damn, that last kiss had done it. He was so going to punish him when they are private.

“What did I come here for?” asked Yi Chen his hand resting on the edge of the roof while staring at Zi Han. The two were no longer touching but Zi Han still felt the lingering sensation around his waist and lips.

“You came here accidentally but you were looking for my father,” he said and Yi Chen’s brow arched slightly.

“He is here?” asked Yi Chen and Zi Han nodded his head before looking through the binoculars.

“We all thought he was dead but you believed he was alive and his disappearance most definitely had something to do with that temple,” said Zi Han and Yi Chen glanced at the glorious temple that was the pillar of this entire city and planet.

“How do you know?” he asked and Zi Han smiled slightly.

“I can sense it. Dead or alive, he is definitely in there. I want to bring him back home with us,” said Zi Han and Yi Chen nodded his head in acquiescence. He couldn’t remember his father in law but he would risk it all for his wife. He was prepared to jump through the fire with him at the risk of getting burnt.

“This place is the most protected building in the entire city. It has something to do with a saviour they are looking forward to. A saviour that would usher them into a brighter future so we have to be very careful if we are going in there,” he said and Zi Han nodded his head in agreement.

It was easy to solve this issue but the problem was that it would attract a lot of attention if he summoned Igneous and stormed the temple.

The leader or the high priest, as what they call him, might justify his retaliation against the federation by using them as an excuse. He much preferred they go in quietly and he can leave this place the same way he came. This was indeed a good idea but it didn’t mean it would work completely.

“Who is that woman in maroon? Is she an important figure?” he asked after seeing her walking back into the temple with several men following behind her.

One man tried to run but one of the black robed men took out a whip and swung it wrapping its tip around the man’s neck.
